STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
We believe in One God.
There is one God. Existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:13).
We believe in Jesus.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God.The Scriptures declare his virgin birth, his sinless life, his miracles, His substitutionary work on the cross, His resurrection from the dead, and His exaltation to the right hand of Father, and imminent return. (Matt. 1:23), Luke 1:31, 35, 1 Peter 2:22, Rev. 22:12).
We believe in the Power of the Holy Spirit.
He is the Helper – The Spirit of God among us as believers. (John 14:26, Acts 1:5).
We believe the Bible is the complete Word of God.
The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are inspired by God and are the revelation of God to man. The infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (1 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21).
We believe in original sin.
Man was created good and upright; for God said, “Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness.” However, man by voluntary sin fell, and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is eternal separation from God. (Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 2:17, 3:6, Romans 5:12-19).
We believe in Salvation through Jesus Christ.
Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God when he came into this world, died for us, and was raised from the dead. (Luke 24:47).
We believe in Water Baptism.
Full immersion in water, in accordance with the command from Jesus. (Matthew 28:19).
We believe in the Spiritual Realm.
There is a real Heaven, and a real Hell. There is an evil spiritual being known as Satan and his demonic forces – enemies of God and all that is good. There are also angels – messengers sent from God that are active in both the natural and spiritual world. (Daniel 10:12-13, Ephesians 6:12).
We believe in the Church.
The Body of Christ, gathering locally, living out the way of Jesus and fulfilling the Great Commission together.
We believe in God's plan for Marriage.
Marriage is a blessing instituted by God, confirmed by Jesus, and is exclusively between one man and one woman. It is a picture of Christ andHhis bride, the church.
(Mark 10:6-9).

Ignite LA Church is interdenominational in makeup and strategically aligned with the SoCal Network of the Assemblies of God (AG).
